This problem may occur on Windows 10 and Clarity versions 7.2 to 7.4.1. It is probably caused by Windows 10 removing occasionally the files and folders from the Temp directory - Clarity did not anticipate this new behavior.
As a remedy it is needed to create folderĀ C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\Clarity manually. In some cases creating of the folder may be blocked by a fileĀ C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\Clarity (this file is without extension) - such file need to be deleted first.
The problem was fixed in Clarity release 8.0.
Hint: the Temp folder is hidden by default. Type the full path or "%Temp%" to navigation bar of any opened folder (i.e. Windows Explorer) to access the Temp folder. |
