An error (i.e. Device Malfunction) occurred during configuration of my new hardware (Int7, Int9, U-PAD2, ...)

Cannot find driver file

  • When Clarity cannot find the device's kernel driver (*.sys file). Try to reinstall the drivers. Follow instructions in the Troubleshooting section how to reinstall the device of the respective hardware's manual.
  • When  the device is configured in Clarity but it cannot be found it is inserted to the mainboard's PCI port. Check, whether the card is correctly inserted. Also the card can be nonfunctional.

Cannot load device driver

  • Probably the card (Int7, Int9, ...) isn't located in the PC or is incorrectly inserted into the PCI port.

Cannot find first board

  • One of the A/D cards (Int7, Int9, ...) A/D converters didn't pass the test. The card is probably broken.

Cannot find second board

  • You tried to add to Clarity Configuration second Int7/Int9 board, but in your PC is located only one card. If you have two cards, check, whether are both of the correctly inserted into the PCI port.

Board malfunction

  • The A/D card in the PC is inserted correctly, but it didn't pass the test of the device's A/D converters chips. Probably the card is broken or the PC is overloaded by other programs activity.

Incompatible device driver

  • Very rare situation, when there is incompatibility in the device's kernel driver (.sys file) and the Clarity module (.dll file). Follow instructions in the Troubleshooting section how to reinstall the device of the respective hardware's manual.

UPAD device malfunction, NetPAD Device Malfunction

  • When connected to the PC, the U-PAD or U-PAD2 didn't pass the test of it's A/D converters. Probably the card is broken or the PC is overloaded by other programs activity.
