Agilent 1100 and 1200 systems Control
The Agilent 1100/1200 Control module enables the direct control of the Agilent 1100 HPLC system and Agilent 1200 HPLC system over GPIB or LAN.
Direct control means that the HPLC system can be completely controlled from the Clarity environment. Instrument method controlling the sample preparation and/or analysis conditions will be saved in the measured chromatograms. The chromatography station with the appropriate Control modules (LC Control module, AS Control module for the 1100/1200 autosampler control) provides the user with access to all parameters of the analysis directly from a computer. You can plan the analyses in the sequence measurement straight from the software.
All modules in the 1100/1200 HPLC system must be set to the same version of firmware. Recommended firmware version for both systems is A.06.xx.
The direct control can be performed via:
- 82357A USB/GPIB Interface (Agilent 1100, possibly older Agilent 1200 instruments)
- 82350A PCI/GPIB Interface
(Agilent 1100, possibly older Agilent 1200 instruments) - LAN (Agilent 1200, Agilent 1100 with added LAN communication card)
The 82355 and 82431 ISA/GPIB Interfaces are not supported.
