Download of Clarity from www.dataapex.com hangs for a long time when it is nearly finished.


If you have an anti-virus software which scans your web communication and downloads for viruses, it may hangs the download in your web browser at the end of the download process. The length of the delay depends on the size of the file and it may appear in Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.

There may be a bug in your Windows and Microsoft has described it in a knowledge base article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2789397. Please try to install the provided hot-fix.

You can also turn off the web scanner (web protection) in your anti-virus SW for as short time as the length of download time of the Clarity Installation.
