IQ Report failed. (IQ = Installation Qualification)

This happens usually when upgrading Clarity from earlier version. The IQ program checks all registered files and in case they are no more used in the new version, they will cause the check to fail. However, the station will usually function correctly.

To get Passed for IQ result, it is necessary to:

  1. Remove the previous Clarity installation using the Uninstall Clarity command from the Windows Start menu - All Programs - Clarity program group.
  2. In case you can still see some *.dll files in C:\Clarity (up to 6.2) or C:\Clarity\Bin (since 7.0) directory, delete them manually.
  3. Install Clarity again.

The Uninstall Clarity command will remove the program files only, leaving the configuration and data intact.
