Unauthorized Control Module

Unauthorized control module means that the control module was not installed correctly and DataApex is not liable for correct functionality of the given control module. Station with unauthorized control module loses DataApex support.

In case Clarity detects an unauthorized control module that is configured on any Clarity Instrument, it will remove it from the configuration of the respective Instrument. There will be invoked message just after Clarity start and this action will be logged into Audit Trail also.

Once the control module has been removed from System Configuration it cannot be assigned to Instrument anymore.

If you installed Clarity according to our installation procedure, you will never experience yellow stripe with unauthorized control modules.

Unauthorized UNI Ruby control modules can be configured on Clarity Instrument via UNI Ruby module accessible from the Auxiliary section of the Available Control Modules. It is important to acknowledge that any unauthorized control module may be responsible for incorrect functionality and not Clarity itself.
