Port specification

Clarity communicates only on ports 80 and 443. These two ports are used only when checking for a new version update - either during Clarity start up or when invoking Check for Updates dialog.

Communication on other ports may be initiated by a control module. Information about specific port setting may be available in the Hardware Configuration dialog accessible either from Device Monitor window or from specific tab in the Method Setup - HW Status button. Below is an example of Hardware Configuration dialog - note that provided information are control module specific.
